SMARTFIT BY TOOLMITRAA

FIT File Tools for Repairing, Combining and Editing Activity Files

SmartFIT brings common FIT-file utilities into one non-destructive workspace. Open FIT, GPX or TCX activities, apply focused repairs or transformations, inspect the result and export a new file while keeping the original untouched.

Non-destructive by design

SmartFIT works on an in-memory copy and exports a new file. Structural tools use a clean FIT rebuild. Preserve Original mode remains available in the full editor for compatible edits where retaining unknown and developer-field bytes is possible.

Frequently asked questions

Does SmartFIT modify my original FIT file?

No. Tools operate on a copy in the browser and export a new file.

Can I merge heart rate or power from a second device?

Yes. Field Merger aligns source and target samples by timestamp within a configurable tolerance and can copy HR, power, cadence, GPS, speed, elevation or temperature.

Can SmartFIT remove long breaks or bad timestamp jumps?

Yes. Break Remover can compress long recording gaps, while Corrupt Time Fixer can repair duplicate/backward timestamps and optionally very large forward jumps.

Will every tool preserve proprietary FIT messages?

No. Structural changes require a clean rebuild. SmartFIT only claims byte preservation when Preserve Original reports a compatible edit in the full editor.
