Dense GPX tracks can contain thousands of points around bends, roundabouts, lane changes and separate outbound/return paths. SmartFIT keeps that geometry for the map and follows it when creating a new activity.

Will SmartFIT connect only the first and last GPX point?
No. Exact GPX import uses the trackpoint sequence, so bends and route detail are retained.
Can GPX become a full sensor-rich FIT?
Yes. You can optionally simulate supported sensor streams using route elevation, surface, targets and rider settings.
