SmartFIT Intelligence for Cycling and Running Plans

SmartFIT Intelligence is a deterministic planning layer on top of SmartFIT’s route, athlete-twin and simulation engines. It turns a plain-language request into explicit route and performance settings that you can review before generating an activity.

Plain language to explicit activity settings

Describe the sport, distance, speed or pace, target heart rate, cadence, power, route shape, climbing preference and environmental conditions. SmartFIT parses those instructions into visible controls rather than hiding them inside a black box.

  • Cycling, running, walking, gravel and MTB intents
  • Loop, out-and-back and figure-eight shapes
  • Familiar, exploratory, flat and hilly route preferences
  • Target speed or pace, HR, cadence and power
  • Optional training-session and weather context

Athlete-aware route and realism context

When an athlete has recent activity history, SmartFIT can use the active Athlete Twin, Route Twins and private personal heatmap to score candidate routes and compare generated behavior with recent learned patterns.

  • Latest 5–25 activity learning window
  • Per-athlete cycling and running models
  • Route familiarity scoring
  • Realism validation and partial auto-improvement
  • No claim that similarity proves authenticity

Frequently asked questions

Does the intelligence layer invent health measurements?

No. Generated HR, power, cadence and related streams are simulations or estimates controlled by explicit models and targets.

Can I review the parsed plan?

Yes. SmartFIT shows the detected activity, distance, route preference and targets before applying them.

Does it use Strava API data to train the athlete model?

No. Strava API data is kept outside SmartFIT learning pipelines.
